The article considers the methodology of risk management for the creation of an effective system of economic security in the conditions of the reorganization of business entities. The importance of a risk-oriented approach in internal audit in the context of a large business merger is grounded. Recommendations are given on the development of a security policy for commercial enterprises of various types of activities by the example of one of the major investment projects in Russia. An algorithm for constructing a new system of economic security model, which includes a number of iterative processes based on innovative methods: derivatives balance integrated risk reports, databases, registered the Russian Federal Service for Intellectual Property, Patents and Trademarks.
